Messrs. British Insulated & Helsby Cables, Ltd.,
Helsby,
Nr. Warrington.

B.I. 7 mm H.T. Ignition Cable.

Dear Sirs,

We have been Laboratory testing samples of your latest production delivery to us and regret to say that we find the dielectric to be considerably inferior in respect to ozone resistance than samples tested about a year ago.

We have also tested a sample of cable supplied by Messrs. Kalker of Coventry which we understand is also manufactured by you and its resistance to ozone is considerably better than the ordinary B.I. cable.

Can you explain how it is that this cable is so much inferior as now that we have standardized your cable we want to be assured that it is the best obtainable.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
