-2- (3) For Rippletto, since the gearbox will be so short, and must be placed close to the clutch to maintain an engine coupling that is short and stiff in bending, a gearbox extension is so long that one is inclined to favour again the split propeller shaft if the cost does not rule it out. (4) Myth can have a single propeller shaft with or without a gearbox extension because (a) Having no frame cross the front seats are not raised by the shaft on bump.
