| - 7 - The corresponding movement at the centre of pressure of the rotor is .0158" -------- = .013" 1.5 x .813 It is thus seen that the effect of compressibility is small compared with that of the displacement of the indicator piston. The calculated values of the effects, which work in the same direction, is therefore rather more than the observed effect on the indicator card, but the difference may be assumed to be due to experimental errors.
