It has been agreed that we shall bring a special 40/50 HP. car into France under the Touring Acquit.

We are expecting the car to cross over on Monday the 9th.Feb.

We should prefer to cross by the Southampton/Harve route because there is not so much traffic on that route. We assume that the General Transport Co. will be able to deal with the car at Harve. If this is going to present any difficulty, we will, of course, cross to Boulogne.

The following are particulars of the car :-

Chassis No.................... 98-NK.
Engine No..................... 4-EAC-11.
Type of body.................. 4-seater open-touring by Barker.
Colour of body................ Grey.
Weight - unladen.............. 2,200 kilos.

The owners name, and address is -

Mr. A.{Mr Adams} J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Lidsey,
18, Charnwood Street,
Derby.

Will you please arrange that you obtain from Derby the 65% guarantee when you require it.

The driver of the car (A.J.Lidsey) has a French Driving Licence. It is difficult for us to get the International Driving Licences from the R.A.C. without divulging xxxxx particulars of the car.

We may ask you to send Croyden to the port at which we arrive, if there is likely to be the least difficulty with the papers.

We should also like to know how the new contd :-
