Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} DRH Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary}27.4.40. DUFFIELD BANK HOUSE. Owing to the fact that we have one less at Duffield Bank House now, and have also increased the work to be done by making a large kitchen garden, I have agreed to Bowler and Millington being paid for overtime during Spring, which is the busiest time of the year. If they do not work overtime they will not keep abreast of the job. I shall be glad to know whether you agree to this procedure or whether you would rather that I tried to get another youth.
