Questioning the decision to use inserted valve seats for Eagles 8 & 9 cylinders at a late stage.

I fear it is the wearing of the guides allowing scrubbing of the faces that cause seats to wear. We do the same on our new engines, and Condor perhaps? Has this been confirmed.
