My dear Hives,

I am looking forward to my talk with you on Wednesday next with a great deal of pleasure, and in case it might be helpful am enclosing a sort of agenda of the things I want to discuss. I am also sending copies as regards the motor car part to Mr. Elliott and Mr. Rowbotham, and as regards the aircraft part, copies to Messrs. Elliott, Rowledge and Barrington.

The carburetter for the "Merlin(Aero Engine)" engine is now finished, and is at our Works awaiting a visit from your Mr. Farmer to see the carburetter tested on the blower, so that he is familiar with it before we put it on the engine. We shall be getting into touch with him direct to arrange this.

I shall be coming down by road, and my 27 H.P. Vauxhall will be fitted with one of our carburetters. I hope that either you, Rowbotham, or some other member of your staff whom you care to nominate will be able to have a run out and tell me whether the carburation falls short of Rolls-Royce standards.

I shall be staying at the Midland, and of course if you feel like joining me there in the evening
