To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to E/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to By/GGH. 16066. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/JH.14.2.36. Wind Horns on 25 H.P. Chassis. Replying to your E.2/HP.11.2.36, we have now tested the solid bracket on 21-G-IV and find the note of the horns to be entirely unaltered as compared with a flexible mounting. Messrs Lucas say that the horn mounting must be either very rigid and very flexible, anything in between absorbing the energy of the horns. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
