We give below specification for the next 10,000 miles test :- CHASSIS. (1) Centrally mounted Harrison Radiator, 58 m.m. thick. (2) Propellor shaft damper to H.Sch.4122, modified to H.Sch.3911. (3) Complete rubber engine mounting as instructed for production for the 21st chassis in 7.2 series. (4) Shortened link between pedal shaft and engine. (5) Marles roller steering gear. (6) A torsional stabiliser bumper bar will be tested on this car in case it is needed in the future. ENGINE. (1) Lead bronze main bearings. (2) Drilled up connecting rods with drilling for piston lubrication. (3) Larger oil pump! (4) Exhaust manifold studs made in KK.965 with waisted centre. (5) Improved flexible petrol supply connection. (6) Air silencer to LRG.4043. | ||
