We have had delivery of 180 Brake Drums produced from 3/8" material - value ............ £130.10. 0.

100 Drums produced from 1/2" material were in progress of machining, and had proceeded too far to produce the new drum. The cost of these ........................... £ 76. 5. 0.

Total value ....... £206.15. 0.

plus cost of machining.

In the last paragraph of BY17/G.6.2.31. it is suggested that in the near future we may be using a new drum with air cooling ribs.

We have in stock and in progress of manufacture 316 brake drums (equal to 158 chassis) of present design. The balance to complete "N2" Series - 275 chassis - i.e., 117 pairs, have still to be ordered. These we are holding up pending your further instructions.
