Ll. Smith Please see me To EY. from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} SECRET. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.11.2.35. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Re SpectreCodename for Phantom III - Roller Tappets. We send you herewith:- LeC.4353 showing the design for the roller tappets. It will be noticed that the diameter of the camshaft has been reduced from 1.2" to 1", which will mean making some new camshaft bearings. In regard to the tappet blocks, it may be possible to bore them out without altering the castings. The clamping dogs are unchanged. We want to get the proportions of the tappet and guide correct so we suggest that RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} should make us a one off model in mild steel. E/JNR.{Charles L.
