Thanks for your memo. I note you feel you ought to have a little more experience of these tyres.

We should like you to get this as quickly as possible, as with the Winter coming on we shall get more and more complaints of the Silent tyres and their adhesive properties. So that we would like to be able to offer the new tyres as soon as we can - and presumably Dunlops will take some little time to get supplies out.
