DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. This column is for Name of Person addressed. DATE. Mr Barrington for T.C. rec'd 21/10/12 X879 19/10/12 CJ18/D191012 Study the question of passing air under dash in greater quantities. If necessary, raise the sloping part of floorboards to a greater height, as in the Mercedes. The removal of central brake drum would allow greater passage of air. And there is a smaller flywheel on trial which should assist. Everything possible should be done to undershield behind flywheel in the way of giving freer exit of air. C.J.
