Phantom.

The fitting of the control rod to the rear shock dampers entails alterations to the Battery and further modifications to the control rod. A new Battery would be required.

The scheme for production has not been finished and they are holding the job up until a proper scheme has been tried out, to the latest drawings.

The result of the test on 28-EX has not been very satisfactory, excessive wear has taken place in the dampers and on the ball pads of the damper connecting rods. Schemes D.74589 and LOP. 74590 cover the Battery and Box.
