S/W Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C26/C24.6.27 . Re LOW PRESSURE TYRES. ------- We are getting a certain number of enquiries from owners of existing cars as to the cost of converting their cars to balloon tyres. Two or three of them, however, have coupled with this the question as to whether we consider the life of the balloon tyre is as long as that of the high pressure. Our impression in London is that the life would not be as long. Will you please let me know what your experience was with the tests you made in France, and the opinion you formed as to the life of balloon tyres on the 40/50 h.p. and 20 h.p. C. | ||
