To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to CJ. BJ. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Y5260 R7/M29.9.25. LOUVRES. X. 8260 X. 5260 If we use louvres on the bonnet we must make them from the bonnet itself, without undue labour. To do this you must press them in as well as press them out. They must be curved and shaped so as to be stiff, and difficult to see through. If necessary we could add a small amount of inside lip, cheaper than we could add it to the outside lip, for a given degree of efficiency.
