Re: STIFFENED TYPE CROSSMEMBER OR LAMP CROSSMEMBER.
--------------------------------------------
Chassis B.66.EF - Mr. F.{Mr Friese} LANG
B.130.EF - Mr. JONINON
--------------------------------------------

During an examination of the above two chassis, we found that the "stiffened type crossmember" or "lamp crossmember" on chassis B.66.EF has failed and that the one on chassis B.130.EF has cracked.

As soon as the parts have been dismantled, we will send you a sketch showing where the trouble has occurred.

We attach to D/BP.'s copy of this memo our official order for two of the above type crossmembers and we shall be glad if D/BP. will please arrange to have them sent by return and by airmail.

We think that it will also be advisable to have one in stock for future requirements, which could follow the two called for above.

We note from the chassis series card that the above part is referred to as a "headlamp stiffener".

Sr/VA.
