Dear Mr. Robotham,

I have just received a cable from the States and it rather appears they are not making any Twin updraught carburetters at the moment.

The cable, however, is not very clear, so I have asked for further information, but it does not look very hopeful at the moment.

I am, however, doing my very best to obtain a carburetter for you and trust the delay will not put you to any great inconvenience.

With kind regards, I remain,

Yours sincerely,
