X8140 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY2/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 1. 7. 25. E.A.C. GOVERNOR CONTROL LEVER. E.72643. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} reports to me that he has had two cases of the above levers coming loose:- 1. A "V" Series car which has just been delivered to customer. 2. A car testing prior to delivery to customer as a complete car. The scheme in question is the "biting in" bolt. We would like to know whether you are in agreement that we should increase the size of the bolt, as apparently it will mean dealing with all cars which have been produced. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
