best we know of, we should still get boiling if the conditions were sufficiently severe. 25-EX car which had the large U.S.A. type tubes, has been driven under similar conditions to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car on similar roads and has not boiled. If we fit the small tube in place of the large, we shall be better off still.

As we see it, the problem is how soon can we adopt these improvements. Unless we scrap a number of tubes it will be well on in 1932 before we have them on cars.

We have already received one complaint from U.S.A. of the P.2 cars we sent out there over-heating. We quite expected this and it may become a very expensive matter to deal with.

In the case of the 25 H.P., the last 100 cars which have been despatched have had the standard tubes dented. Our remarks as regards the U.S.A. type tubes apply to this car in the same way as P.2.
