Mr. Royce saw this car again yesterday and commented on the very bad access to the car, due to the front seats and the dithering windscreen.

These points were emphasised in our Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/M24422., when the car left the coachbuilders, but apparently no-one has been sufficiently interested in the job to have the car put right.

Concerning the front seats Mr. Royce says that they are too long, too soft and flexible, and too high at the back, in fact the seat squabbing parallelograms when sat on, and the driver has no control of his position. Lastly if the brake is operated fiercely the seat runs back badly.

WHEN SAT ON THIS SEAT HAS AN EFFECTIVE LENGTH OF 25"

Mr. Royce wishes you to fit two new front seats of the very best possible type you know of. We think these can be either the tip up type where the seat folds up against the windscreen, or the round bucket seat, capable of swivelling and sliding.
