Rml/R.4.4.39.

STEERING ROLLER FAILURES.

The attached report indicates that about 40% of the steerings fitted to Wraithe and 'M' Series Bentleys are likely to be unreliable.

We have tested all the available rollers that have not yet been fitted to chassis, and have passed sufficient to enable deliveries of finished cars to be made, and to supply Sr. with enough to change all suspected chassis on the Continent.

Supplies of 100% reliable rollers will be available immediately after Easter.
