RE LIGHTING INSTALLATION AT WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town.

With reference to the sample of wire sent, we notice that the conductor is tinned all right, secondly, that the wire is well insulated with vulcanised rubber, but we think that our ordinary low tension wires as used on the car for the battery ignition has a protective covering of braided cotton. you will see in my memo (R6/G13319) I ask for ordinary low tension single stranded wire as used on our car. I do not want armoured lighting wire.

Perhaps I should have added ignition wire, but I thought that was clear.
