R.R. 235A (100 T) (S H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 159 1-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 ( RECEIVED ) TO EFC. FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} ORIGINAL 18 AUG 1926 R1/M16.8.26. 2 VU275 X2894 I should be very glad to know if you are sufficiently forward with your electrical experiments to come and see me any day after this week. ✓ The points are - Have you replied to OY's memo. of June 11., regarding the platinum points? Yes, ✓ Have you a Delco and Bosch coil with nearly complete magnetic circuit in iron? Yes Delco ✓ Are you satisfied that a comparison of the performance of platinum points and tungsten points shew sufficient advantage in the platinum points to justify their extra cost, and to make their use preferable to the inexpensively replaceable tungsten points? Experiments in progress. ✓ Is there any difference between the American tungsten points and the English tungsten points? Apparently yes. ✓ How is it that our condenser, according to OY., is less well insulated than the condenser of the Bosch Co? Is it? How the Bosch Co. can work with such a poor earthing of their condenser? And many other questions too numerous to write. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
