We are duly in receipt of and thank you for your letter of the 10th. inst., confirming your Mr. E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Fowler Clark's recent call on us.

We are carefully considering the points you mention and are also sending a copy of your letter to our Paris House and likewise a copy to our Works.

We hope that the next samples will be sufficiently satisfactory to pass the various tests you require, and that you will be able to give us a contract for a regular supply of these instruments.

We are, dear Sirs,
