Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited.
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Dixon.

Enclosed herewith blue print of the mild steel pot. The peculiar shape inside the end of this is provided in order that there may be sufficient metal around the core and at the same time to avoid having to tap half a hole. Naturally if these are made out of the solid they cannot conveniently be made this shape. What we do therefore is to leave the end solid until after it has been tapped and then turn it away to the 1 1/8" diameter.

We cannot trace having received the order for 6 high pressure pumps yet. Will you kindly let us have this as soon as convenient.

Yours faithfully,
For THE S.U. CARBURETTER CO. LTD.
