RE "GOSHAWK II" - BONNET FASTENER SPRING. On looking into the question of Bonnet Springs, we find that with the existing details, Spring E.51600 should show the best results, giving a load when in position of 16 lbs. on each spring or 64 lbs. total. We suggest that you have a bonnet fitted up with springs checked to this drawing, and assembled with the standard spring washer E.50690. Heavier loading could be obtained by using a spring made from square section material. BY/Shn. | ||
