Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr.D.G.Abbot-Anderson.

Further to your letter of the 9th instant and Mr. Robotham's visit to the above Showrooms, the writer regrets very much indeed not being in Town at the time to attend to your client, and understands that the Standard car which he tried was not running quite satisfactorily.

Meanwhile however, we have checked and tuned up the engine of the car and it is now running extremely well and it would be difficult to find a similar model which would excelt it in performance and smoothness of running.

Perhaps Mr. Robotham would like to try the car again in which case we would be very happy to keep any appointment convenient to him.

Awaiting the favour of a further reply, and thanking you in anticipation.
