Dear Sirs,
Further to our letter of the 28th ult. we find that owing to some slight delay in initial mould production in the 6.00-19 and 7.00-20 MA.2. type tyres, we do not anticipate being in a position to send you the four tyres of each size which you have ordered until some time during the week commencing 18th July.
We think it will be of interest to you to learn that after due consideration of the tests carried out with the MA.1,2 and 3 patterns, it was decided at the Local Board Meeting on the 10th inst. that it would be in the interests of our customers and ourselves, to adopt the MA.2. type, and we are now working on these lines.
We feel confident that your findings, after the tests of the tyres mentioned in the first part of this letter, will coincide with ours.
Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LIMITED.
