Dear Sirs,
We are returning one Experimental No: 104 Aero plug, returned for repair to your Advice Note W C/F.179913 of the 6th inst.
This plug was in excellent condition with the exception that it required a new top sleeve, which we are now fitting in a different way, and we do not think that you will have any further trouble from this source.
These are the plugs about which Mr. Guinness spoke to Mr. Hives when last he was at your Works, and we shall be very glad to learn if you have yet formed an opinion on their behaviour, as we consider that they may prove to be an advance on the F 12 plug, which you are now using.
We are also sending you two dozen No: 114 car type plugs (together with half dozen cleaners) - free of charge, for your tests. These plugs are very similar to the Experimental Nos: 105 and 106, which Mr. Hives at present has for test, with the exception that the insulation in the No: 113 plugs has been made even longer.
