The Hoffman Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.,
CHELMSFORD.

For the attention of Mr. Smith.

Dear Sirs,

We are returning to you five bearings removed from a Bentley gearbox after 13,000 miles' running.

The complaint about these bearings is that of excessive noise.

We thought you would like an opportunity to examine them, and should be glad to have your report in due course.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
