Bumping and revolving tests on front wheels and pivots under torsional stress.

In addition to the bumping test on the front wheels I think that it would be quite well to make the revolving test suggested in Mr Hadin's notes so that we may be able to compare the value of the various pivots when subjected to this torsional stress. This failure shews the inadvisability of fitting fast cars with wire wheels and pivots near the centre of the wheels as we have in hand. P.H.R. X168 For Mr Hives attention | ||
