WRAITH III - PETROL PUMP & PIPING.

Herewith the following scheme :-

F.CD.112 (Sheet 1) Petrol Pump mounted in frame and pipes and wiring conduits.

The petrol pump is the same on Ph.lll and is mounted inside the frame and below the drivers seat. To gain access to the pump the seat cushion, tool drawer etc. is removed, and it will be necessary for the coachbuilders to provide a hole in the floor-board.

The piping to the pump has been increased to .375 diameter to make the fittings common to the three chassis, Ph.lll, Bentley lll, and Wraith lll, and at the same time lower the suction head. The piping from the pump to the flexible pipe under the bonnet (see F.CD.111) remains at .3125 diameter since it is thought that an increase in pipe size on the delivery side would be detrimental.

The scheme also shows the arrangement of the other pipes, and conduits in the frame at this position.

Additional schemes showing the remainder of the pipes and wiring in the frame will follow.
