Remarks:-
Uneven slow running is being dealt with by Mod. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}35 which retards the timing. The results are fairly satisfactory but could be improved. The crankshaft damper fabrics have received attention to prevent the loads increasing. (Handwritten: H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} by cables?)

(5) DYNAMO.
(1) Failure to keep battery charged
regulators faulty. 9.11
Terminal wire shorting. 1.
Lead wire on fuse loose. 1.
(2) Noise due to bad condition of roller race (lack of lubrication). 3.
(3) Sticking of ammeter and loose connection. 2.
(4) Rattle from dynamo drive, rubber blocks loose. 1.1
(5) Main fuse ( nut loose at rear). 1.
(6) (Handwritten: A Failure of dynamo to charge. sticking brushes (com burned)) 1 18.
Remarks:-
The regulators are not up to the work required from the dynamo. This is receiving serious attention.

(6) STARTER MOTORS.
(1) Faulty engagement due to sticking of pinion (dust chiefly). (Handwritten: Cadmium plating peeling from shaft /1) 3.
(2) Push button sticking too tight. 2.
