X.5661/3. 20/25 DYNAMO OUTPUT ON U.S.A. CARS.

We are handing to Mr.Brock a present standard 20/25 56-coil armature dynamo No. 2.24s.I.O. In connection with modifying a number of dynamos on U.S.A. 20/25 cars we wish it to be arranged for this machine to be modified by Mr.Brock with the usual pole piece modification and at the same time for Ry's Dept. to produce a drawing of the modification which can be sent to U.S.A.

We already have a 14.0 volt curve taken from this machine in its present standard conditionand it is our intention after pole piece modification to take a modified curve for comparison, and to send to U.S.A. a copy of the comparative curves so that together with the instruction and drawing for modification which Ry's dept. will prepare U.S.A. will have some indication of what change in output they may expect from the machines they will themselves modify on the few 20/25 cars they have.

Will RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} please arrange for this modification to be carried out at the earliest convenience so that we may proceed with the taking of the curve.
