For the attention of Mr. C. E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Steadman.

Dear Sirs,

We are glad to hear from your letter of the 29th September that Mr. Steadman has received the two sample quarts of No-Co-Ro {C. C. Rose - Export Manager} sent on to him a few days ago. The undersigned was disappointed to miss Mr. Steadman when he visited Derby recently as there were certain points which he was very anxious to discuss - points which we consider might be of assistance to him in connection with the tests he intends making.

Our own work with No-Co-Ro {C. C. Rose - Export Manager} has extended over a fairly wide range of metals. In addition we have carried out some very careful tests on the effect of the material on various types of rubber. The National Physical Laboratory have also done a good deal of work for us, including investigation on the effect of the material on Y.Alloy - a metal which no doubt will be familiar to you. We have available a summary of these tests which we would like to put before you, but as this is rather a lengthy subject to deal with by letter, the undersigned will telephone you within the next few days in order to arrange for a meeting.

Yours faithfully,
NEWTON, CHAMBERS & COMPANY LIMITED,
