X5430 W/S - C. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/KW.21.3.35. GAE-20. We have gone over the steering on this car and should like your opinion as to whether it is passably light for London conditions in its present state. It occurs to us that if the shorter pendulum lever which is being fitted to your car was put on GAE-20, there would then be little justification for complaints of the steering effort. Incidentally, we should like to have the opportunity of trying the steering on your car when it is finished, to make sure that it is giving representative results.
