Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.1/AP.

The English Steel Corporation,
Vickers Works,
SHEFFIELD.

For the attention of Mr.Gray.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation of the 9th. inst., although the actual prices for the two special road springs to FW.754 should go to our Order Office in the normal manner, we do not want the prices for these springs on a Production basis of 200 pairs at the moment to go further than our Experimental Department.

I should be very much obliged, therefore, if you would kindly arrange for the prices for production quantities including the necessary tool costs to be sent direct to me.

It is very likely that additional cost will be needed in order to satisfy our requirements, so that a circulation of the present costs would only cause a false impression, which would finally be harmful to these springs.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
