Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Wer. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} BJ. RECEIVED 11 AUG 1926 X8430 EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}2/H9.7.26. re. New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I Steering. With reference to the question of modifications to the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I Steering. Can consideration be given, please, as to what information should be circularised to the Depots in regard to these modifications, and can the question be borne in mind for a decision as soon as possible as to what modifications and under what conditions same should be incorporated on cars already in customers' hands. We have no doubt this matter is already having consideration, but this memo is sent as a reminder that up to the present, although information has been issued to the Depots advising them as to how to make the best of the present steering, no information has been sent to them in regard to any proposed modifications. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Note. The above is a copy of a memo we sent through just over a month ago. Are you yet in a position to deal with this please. EP.{G.
