Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}1/OH.2.6.42. Will you please note that we are being severely criticised for the number of cars which are operating between Belper and Derby, and that we have to remedy this state of affairs. Additional Bus Services have been instructed commencing Monday June 1st between Belper and Derby, and Belper, Derby and Hucknall, for your information we are enclosing a copy of the bus time tables, those times underlined in red representing a direct through service, the only stop between Clan Foundry and the works being Duffield Bank House. It should be appreciated that this Bus Service must be used and we cannot in future use our own Clan Foundry cars for this particular service. We have also been requested by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to co-operate with the Derby Transport Dept. as far as possible, and if any person is contemplating a journey to say, Wolverhampton or Coventry, we should be informed of this a few hours in advance so that if the Derby Transport Dept. have a car going in the same direction it could be utilized instead of sending an additional car from the Clan Foundry. Those people wishing to visit Hucknall must contact the Hucknall Bus Service at the Assembly Rooms as per the attached time table. Co-operation of all concerned is requested.
