Waller - Head of Chateauroux} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.16.6.38. In order to complete the analysis which we are making on the windage of our various models compared with corresponding American practice, we should like the following further information:- (1) The lap speed of the Oldsmobile when loaded up to the same weight as the Wraith, for which we already have a lap speed. (2) Photographs of B.III, 35-EX and the Packard, comparable with those already taken of the Oldsmobile and the Wraith. (3) Lap speeds of B.III when fitted with a reasonable exhaust system compared with the present standard Bentley 6.B., road wheel horse-power to be obtained in both cases before going to the track. (4) Road wheel horse-power to be taken of 35-EX in its present condition. (5) Test bed horse-power loss - (a) Wraith fan. (b) B.III fan. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
