Water and oil temperatures remained consistent, and the average speed was practically consistent. The plugs are inconsistent in firing after switching off at small throttle opening. They all seem to do so at times. It is therefore, with this engine, a question of how the plugs stand up with regard to short circuiting, due to carbon on the inside. The tightening up of the engine points to the fault being with the pistons, as it is only the cylinders that are cooled off with the lower water temperatures. ==================== GWHancock.
