SUMMARY OF TEST.
From the attached report it will be seen that the metal air-screw with the adjustable blades can be solely responsible for complaints of vibration and roughness. The metal air-screw supplied to us was such that if it was fitted up to the makers marks, the engine vibrated badly - it was however possible to adjust the blades so that the engine ran smoothly.
