Referring to Sft.{Mr Swift}7/BH.29.5.34. in which it is pointed out that the Works have arrived at the point when they must have instructions immediately for cylinder block castings beyond the 1st. 50 in E.2. series, these castings are special to the new type carburetters which we ordered for the 1st. 50 in this series in accordance with Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}8/R.13.4.34. We have discussed the matter with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and although he is not yet in a position to issue standardisation sheets, he considers that we should go ahead with a further batch as he does not forsee any serious difficulties arising. The same applies to the controlling device for the hydraulic shock dampers. With your permission we propose to release a further 50 sets. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
