ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, 14 & 15, CONDUIT STREET, LONDON, W. TELEPHONES : 1654, 1655, 1656 (Gerrard) TELEGRAMS: 'ROLHEADRolls-Royce telegram address,' REG., LONDON. CH28/H101013. X677 Initial of person addressed. S/W. Re Triptiques for 2301. We thank you for particulars of this car, which you intend sending over to France on Friday next, the 17th. We will have the necessary Triptiques taken out. We hope you will be able to get this car down in good time on Thursday afternoon, before 2 o'clock, because the papers cannot be completed until the car and driver have been examined. We must give them plenty of time for this, as they have lately complained to us of the way we have been rushing the cars through. We intend sending the car by the usual route, i.e. Folkestone - Boulogne. We should like to know whether France is the only country it is necessary to take Triptiques out for. We ask, as the car may be going into Italy or Switzerland. We note you are sending photographs of the driver on. C. | ||
