BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ) FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ) X7250 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M17.8.31. P. 2. RADIATOR MOUNTING. X.7250 X.7310 Could you send us a sketch of the radiator mounting referred to in the report on 25-EX, at 10,000 miles as being a success. We are about to make a design. Could you also send us information as to the modified feed tubes on the front axle referred to as G.L.431 also the new scheme of lubrication to the rear brake actuating shafts referred to as G.L.479., also the spring clips holding the bijur pipe to the springs both front and rear. With reference to the speedometer drive have the Expl. Dept. done all that they can do to improve the existing sch. or do you want some further design; for instance, have spiral grooves in the bushes been tried, or additional holes or has anything been done to observe what happens inside the spiral gearbox when the gearbox is running.
