COPY. 2e FW.98/I. 10.7.40. Mr. Hollyoake, Superintendent, Royal Ordnance Factory, PEMBREY. Dear Mr. Hollyoake, You possibly do not remember me but I have paid several visits to your Factory in connection with the machining of our 40 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Gun barrels. A friend of mine, Richard Taylor, a Director of Taylor Bros., Manchester, has considerable quantity of machine tool equipment available owing to an order for the French railways being cancelled. He believes that some of this equipment might be of use to you and would very much like to visit the Factory to see whether there are any pieces, the manufacture of which he can undertake. I have asked him to contact you and would be grateful for any courtesy you may be able to show him. Yours sincerely, | ||
