Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 36-EX. - PHANTOM III. New Fan. We have fitted the new fan and pulley as instructed in your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.3/AP.17.4.37. The starting handle bracket came 1/4" too far to the N.S. and it was necessary to slot the holes in the plate to bring it in line with the crankshaft. The bosses referred to in your memo. consist of distance pieces screwed on to bolts. We have substituted half nuts and spring washers for the distance pieces and cut the bolts off flush with the nuts. We will fit the filter for radiator outlet when to hand. --------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} | ||
