PHANTOM II - CLUTCH.

With reference to the standardisation sheet which is being circulated in connection with the proposal to fit Ferodo discs on the central member, we find that the clutch as fitted on 24-EX. is not in accordance with the LeC. i.e. it contains certain modifications which have been made in the Experimental Department.

In our opinion the modifications which have been made do not represent the right way of doing what RR.AI. have done.

We would suggest that the matter is submitted to DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} for him to send his proposals to meet your requirements.

In the meantime it would seem advisable to continue the present design for the first half of N.2 series. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
