By/NS.{Norman Scott} c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} -346. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.9/AH.14.9.37. Will you please produce a very simple type of drawing showing how a small spring eye can be used for the front end of Phantom III rear spring with considerable advantage for support to the spring eye. As we propose to order a pair of springs for the next 15,000 miles car having the small eye, we should also like the features shown on Firths drawing 210 for reduction of cost to be included on this drawing.
